Vision: Is very powerful. The colors are very striking, and the chosen model has a very strong pose that matches with the strength of the colors in the background.
Originality: The idea of a lone warrior looking over the ocean is nothing too new. But usually those images are represented with sad, cool colors. It is great to see another choice of bold warm colors. It makes the image all the more striking.
Technique: A problem I do have is that the background looks much more faded and "fuzzy," like a painting. The warrior seems far too striking to realistically exist in the scene. It's also evident through the shadows that he was probably photographed in a studio, and not by the ocean. The background seems to already be providing some drop shadows for him, and the lighting on him matches the lighting in the background, so that's good. And I don't know too much about photomanipulation, but if it is possible to alter/erase and add shadows, that is what I recommend so that it corresponds with the light source. Or try another model.
Impact: As I have said throughout this review, the whole image is very bold and striking. The choice of colors is beautiful, and it is a definite eye-catcher. The warrior could definitely been more forceful, but overall the image works.
